Sodoh-Badzha
The Living Compendium of Su'ju'kin and the Order of the Ki'taii
Volume I · The Mountain
Sodoh-Badzha is the Ki'taii account of returning — to connection with Self, with Nature, and with Community — through reciprocity and right living. The Order holds that the First Way was never lost, only buried: that attention, gratitude, restraint and relationship are carried from the first ancestors and extended to every generation since, and that what looks like learning them is remembering them.
Volume I: The Mountain lays the ground. It opens on the distinction the whole work turns on — between designated function, the office a system assigns because it needs filling, and Muadnahk, the Purpose that arrives from the deepest place in a being and is never imposed from outside. Then it gives the ground of the practice: the Immersion Point, one place returned to until it stops being scenery and becomes a set of relationships. It is the first of the Thirteen Studies, the method by which the Ki'taii remember, and nothing else in that sequence opens without it.
None of this requires a wilderness, a month, or a tradition you were born into. A ditch behind a wall with one dandelion growing out of it is a start.
